foreclosure intervention program

Want to lower your mortgage payment? Having trouble paying your mortgage? Wayne Metro is a Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) certified housing counseling agency.

Wayne Metro's Foreclosure Intervention Program assists residents that have received a foreclosure notice from an attorney or posted on thier property, residents late on thier mortgage payments or afraid they will be late on future payments and residents that are current on their payments but have a loss of income.

Wayne Metro's certified Foreclosure Intervention Counselor will work with clients to:

- Empower clients with information about mortgage modification and forecloure 

   intervention opportunities so you can take control of your housing situation

- Explain all of your available options, detailing the pros and cons of each option

- Develop a strategy based upon your unique circumstances

- Coach and assist you to negotiate with your mortgage servicer to achieve your desired

   outcome

- Accompany you to MCL Section 3205b meeting with your lender's attorney

There are no income limits for this program, any person with a mortgage on their primary residence in Michigan is eligible to receive FREE housing counseling.
