Homeless Prevention

Wayne-Metro's Homeless Prevention Program provides case management and support to 30 + area households annually. Individuals and families with children who are at risk of becoming homeless are eligible for this program. Clients can receive short-term supports such as assistance with utilities or help with rent and mortgage. Others receive guidance through life-skills coaching including budgeting and finances, nutrition and health, and links to other family resources. Participants remain in the program for one year with an additional six month follow up period.
